Meeting Minutes

The agenda from all meetings will be on the bulletin board in the speech building.

Don't forget to pick one up!

I. Community Service
a. We will be doing a food drive instead of the toy drive.
b. Please bring food donations to the lounge. There is a blue plastic crate by the window for the collection.

II. Up 'til Dawn
a. 4 people per team
b. $20 per team / $5 per person
c. Letter writing will be held Friday, 11/11, 8pm-12midnight in Hillwood
-Bring in 50 names & addresses to the letter writing event
d. form teams and e-mail cwpost_nsslha@yahoo.com the team name and members (we are registering as a group). Please bring team $ to meeting as soon as possible. Deadline is 10/21 to register!
e. If you are interested and do not have a team, let us know!

III. Homecoming
a. Our fundraiser will be a sand art project.
b. Volunteers are needed to sit at the table. Please contact us if you are interested in sitting at the table. Just an hour can help!

IV. Memberships and Conventions: EXTRA FORMS WILL BE IN THE LOUNGE (RM 214) FOR MEMBERSHIP AND CONVENTIONS:
a. NSSLHA - Convention: San Diego, 11/18-11/20
b. LISHA - Convention: Huntington Townhouse, 10/28
We will be reserving a table for the luncheon. Please let us know via e-mail when you register so we can reserve the table.
c. NYSSLHA - Convention: Saratoga Springs, 4/27-4/29.
We will be arranging a carpool so let us know if you are interested in attending

I. Membership

II. Bake Sale

a) Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at table outside of speech building

b) Sign up sheet to sit at table and for baked goods

c) Bring in baked goods to speech lounge (Room 214) Monday, Sept. 26 or Tuesday morning before 10:00 a.m.

III. Toys for Tots Toy Drive

a) Please bring in toys for our fundraiser. Drop toys off in the Speech lounge (Room 214) in the blue crate by the window.

b) Drop off toys by the first week of December

IV. Aphasia Workshop

a) Friday, October 21 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. in The Pioneer room in the Winnick Center

b) Food will be served

V. Meetings

a) Will be held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 12:30 in the Hillwood Cinema. When school is closed, the meeting will be cancelled.
